ASTANA (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – The Special Economic Court of Almaty upheld the winding-up petition of the National Bank against Eximbank Kazakhstan JSC, the National Bank says in a press release.

On 25 September 2002, the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan (NBK) brought an action before the Almaty Inter-Ministerial Specialised Economic Court for the forced liquidation of Eximbank Kazakhstan. On 28 November 2018, the specialised inter-ministerial city of Almaty accepted the decision of the Economic Court concerning the forced liquidation of Eximbank Kazakhstan JSC. If there is no appeal within 30 days, the decision will be final.
