ALMATY (Satrapia) — The chief physician of the Nur-Sultan Multidisciplinary Hospital, Ivan Li, has died from the coronavirus, the press officer of the mayor of the capital Akmaral Olzhabayeva reported.

He was a great professional, from the very first days when he was at the forefront of the fight against COVID-19, he saved more than one life. We express our condolences to his family and friends.

The doctor passed away at the age of 60. He was a top urologist and a renowned department head.
