ANKARA (TASS) — Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said he had discussed the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, Syria and Libya with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov in Doha on Wednesday.

Cavusoglu twitted:

Discussed w/FM Sergey Lavrov of RF [Russian Federation] our relations and recent developments in NagornoKarabakh, Libya & Syria.

He also said his country aimed to reach pre-pandemic figures for tourism this year.

According to Cavusoglu, the foundation of Unit 3 of the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant (NPP), Turkey’s first NPP built in line with the May 2010 intergovernmental agreement with Russia, was laid on Wednesday. “May it serve well our nation”, he added.

  • Turkey is so impotyant that all great powers must discuss with it before taking decision. Erodogan MADE TURKEY GREAT AGAIN.

  • YEH! Turkey is Great:

There is 2 Turkey: one for tourists in Istanbul and Marmara, and another for Turks and Kurds in Anatolia.

  • @AntonyL: You are an ignorant. Thanks to Erdogan the number of people living below the poverty line in Istanbul has never been smaller. Over the past 10 years, the share of the population living on less than $4 a day has fallen from more than 20 million to just 1.7 million.

  • I may be ignorant, but you are stupid. You are just copy/pasting this aryicle without givin gthe source: 10 Facts About Poverty in Istanbul

But Mr. smart, we see that in Istanbul, which is the richest city of Turkey, there are still in 2021, 1,7 million people living with less than $4/day. Erdogan has better to spend less on military to provide all these very poor population with welfare.

  • You are from wich country? you dont have poverty in your country? I visited all the european countries. there is a lot of pauverty everywhere.

  • France. Yes there is pauverty in France, mostly migrants Erdogan sent us. Erdogan exports the misery of its country to Europe.
