ASTANA (KazInform) – Kazakhstan and South Korea agreed to initiate the flight linking two capitals – Astana and Seoul.
According to Kazakhstan’s Ministry for Investments and Development, the flight will be launched in summer 2015 and performed twice a week.
Representatives of Air Astana, Asiana Airlines, Korean Air, Jin Air and Incheon International Airport Corporation (IIAC) agreed the launch during the negotiations in Seoul. The sides also inked the memorandum of mutual understanding that will allow to increase the number of flights between the two countries.
It is worth mentioning that Air Astana has a codeshare agreement with Asiana Airlines. In aviation business a codeshare agreement, sometimes simply codeshare, is an arrangement where two or more airlines share the same flight.
