Almaty to Host Eurasian Fashion Week

NUR-SULTAN / EX ASTANA (KazInform) — The Eurasian Fashion Week (EFW) has kicked off in Kazakhstan. The event is a new international platform showcasing fashion and style of the entire Eurasian continent.

EFW brings together world-class designers and discovers new names in the world of fashion,

The Eurasian Fashion Week will be carried out in Nur-Sultan (ex Astana) on August 28, 29 and 30, 2020. Almaty is hosting the event on September 10, 11 and 12. This season of EFW joins 28 Kazakh designers and about 200 models.

Among the guests of EFW are the editors of top fashion publications in Russia and Italy, journalists, bloggers, street style photographers and models. Participants of the Fashion Week in Nur-Sultan are famous designers and new names in the fashion industry: Nurgul Ryskulova, Olga Stanishevskaya, Sergey Shabunin, Aigul Kuandykova, brands Joy Jeans, Hanum Collection, Dina Ratsko (Kyrgyzstan), Nosi Moyo, Adili, IMI & KIMI (France) and others.

EFW is held with the participation of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Atameken, the Eurasian Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan. The aim of the project is to facilitate the development of light industry in Kazakhstan in the framework of Ruhani Janghyru Program.
