NUR-SULTAN / ex ALMATY (Interfax-Kazakhstan) — The Committee for Sanitary and Epidemiological Control of Kazakhstan’s Health Ministry recommends that Kazakhstani residents celebrate Nowruz (Nauryz) holiday in the family circle amid the pandemic, the ministry’s press office has said.

Year after year, the Nowruz celebration in Kazakhstan grows in size and diversity. This festival has become, in fact, for Kazakhs a uniting factor of the society. Unfortunately, this year all official celebrations are cancelled.
