DIYARBAKIR (Ruptly) — Police in south-eastern Turkey’s Diyarbakir seized a Bible thought to be 1,200 years old in an anti-smuggling operation in the city of Kayapinar on Tuesday.

Police says three suspects were caught while attempting to sell the 34-page manuscript written on leather with gold letters. A total of six suspects were detained over the incident, according to the police.
