BISHKEK (24.kz news agency) – The coal deposit of Sulukta has been put up for auction by the State Committee of Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use of Kyrgyzstan.

The starting price for the plot N° 5 (mine shaft 2/8) is $3,8000. According to the forecast, the coal reserves at the field are 381190.5 tons.

The local section Vostochny (parts of mine shaft 6/18) was put up for auction with a starting price of $6,154. Stocks of brown coal are estimated to be 243,000 tons.

Kokinsay Square was estimated at $2.3000 where geological prospecting is just beginning.
