BISHKEK (24.kg) — From 2012 to 2017, forestry enterprises have allocated 9,843.4 mln saplings for landscaping of settlements. Their allocation continues today.
The Kyrgyz State Agency for Environmental Protection and Forestry reported that the survival of saplings, allocated earlier by forestry, will be monitored in Kyrgyzstan..
The department plans will involve the State Ecological Inspectorate in order to check the survival and preservation of greenery. In the case of a low survival rate of the saplings, measures will be taken in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The state agency noted that a three-month landscaping campaign is held every year from February 20 to May 20 throughout the republic.
