Putin Meets Modi in Bishkek

BISHKEK (Ruptly) — Russian President Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met for bilateral talks in Bishkek on Thursday, ahead of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit.

According to Putin aide Yuri Ushakov, Russia “puts a lot of emphasis to this contact” and Putin immediately congratulated Modi on his “convincing election victory”.
