BISHKEK — The Ministry of Transport and Roads of the Kyrgyz Republic has published statistics concerning the first half of the year which indicate that Kyrgyz airlines transported 647,690 passengers.

The number of clients of domestic airlines decreased by 5% compared to the same period in 2017. According to the ministry, at the same time, the number of passengers on international flights increased by 8% and amounted to 348,045.

Foreign airlines transported 699,724 passengers on international flights.

Since the beginning of 2018, a number of indicators have increased: cargo transportation increased by 28.5%, postal services by 3.9%, international flights by 1.18% and transit flights by an average of 32.27%.
