BISHKEK (24.kg news agency) — The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan sold $214,940 mln at the foreign exchange market from the beginning of 2015, the press service of the National Bank reported.

According to it, it bought also $43,950 mln for the same period. Thus, the net sales of US dollar for 8.5 month of 2015 amounted to $170,990 mln. In September, the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic sold $35,870 mln, so its yesterday’s intervention was equal to $18.2 mln.

Foreign Exchange Reserves in Kyrgyzstan averaged KGS55,685.80 mln from 2002 until 2015, reaching an all time high of KGS116,554.92 mln in March of 2014 and a record low of KGS64,66.22 mln in June of 2003. It increased to KGS110,644.13 mln in June from KGS99,697.21 mln in May of 2015.
