BISHKEK (24.kg) — The State Tax Service (STI) of Kyrgyzstan has notified that as of 1st July the use of electronic invoicing will become mandatory in the country.

STI stated:

Taxpayers planning to start using electronic invoices can familiarize themselves with the information system user manual, the format of batch uploads/downloads, and other necessary materials, including clarifications in Q&A form, on the STI website in the section “Electronic Invoice”.

VAT payers, importers and/or exporters of goods should contact the tax body at the place of tax registration before August 25, 2020 to invalidate previously assigned series and numbers of invoices. This procedure is necessary due to the country’s switch to the mandatory use of paperless invoices as of 1 July of this year.

For the full use of electronic invoices, you need to go to the portal, submit an online application for registration in the information system, signed with an electronic signature. After that it will be possible to use electronic invoices.

You can use the test platform for training and test processing of electronic invoices until July 1 at www.testesf.salyk.kg.

To make full use of e-invoicing, visit the portal, submit an online and digitally signed registration request. Afterwards, e-invoices can be used.

Until 1st July, the test platform for training and test processing of e-invoices can be used at www.testesf.salyk.kg.
