BISHKEK (24.kg news agency) – Kyrgyzstan and the United States will mutually issue five-year multiple entries tourist and business visas, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
According to the Foreign Ministry, the third session of annual bilateral consultations between Kyrgyzstan and the United States is being held in Washington. “The parties discussed issues of cooperation in trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as security. Following the meeting, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Erlan Abdyldaev and US Assistant Secretary Nisha Biswal took part in the ceremony of exchange of notes. An agreement was reached that the Kyrgyz Republic and the US from April 28, 2015 will start issuing five-year multiple [entries] tourist and business visas to citizens of both countries”, a statement said.
As noted, the Kyrgyz party has declared its readiness to hold in the Kyrgyz Republic a regular meeting of the Board of TIFA (Framework Agreement on Trade and Investment) between Central Asian countries and the United States in 2015. “During the visit, it has also discussed the global and regional agenda, and issues of democracy and human rights and the fight against violent extremism. In conclusion, the delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic met with experts and analysts on the Central Asian Centre for Strategic and International Studies”, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
