Friday 29 June 2018

BISHKEK (24.kg) — The government of Kyrgyzstan proposes to put a moratorium on approbation of entrepreneurs. The Minister of Economy Oleg Pankratov voiced the proposal at the meeting of the Council for Business and Investment Development.

The government has developed the program Unity. Confidence. Creation which has, among other things, the aim to improve the licensing and permitting system. Oleg Pankratov said:

The main innovation is that entrepreneurs will be able to obtain an appropriate license through the Internet. In addition, we delegate our authority to check the legality of the obtained license to a private organization.

In connection with a large number of complaints about the procedures for inspecting business entities, it was decided to impose a three-year moratorium:

Along with this, we will focus on reducing the punitive functions by the state bodies so that they will be able to establish a truly partnership with the business community. We will have a system of electronic invoices, which will allow to track the movement of goods online in the near future.
