BISHKEK (24.kg news agency) – To optimize the tax administration the Kyrgyz government will gradually move to an annual periodicity of payments for land tax and property tax, while retaining the flexibility of payments at the choice of the taxpayer. This is stated in the private sector development program for 2015-2017 years.

It is also reported that the government will go on a quarterly basis to provide tax returns for indirect taxes (taxes on goods and services that are installed in the form of supplements to the price of goods or services and tariffs that don’t depend on income of taxpayers), tax reporting form will be simplified. As a next step, the government will consider the possibility of merging the two taxes: property and land.
