Kyrgyz Foreign Minister visits U.S.

Head of Foreign Ministry Ruslan Kazakbaev went to the U.S. to hold meetings with UN leadership and representatives of the White House, as reported Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, 24.kg reported.

Reportedly, Ruslan Kazakbaev went to New-York. There he will participate in international forum on the problems of developing countries. During the visit, he intends to meet with Secretary General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon, representatives of UNDP and other UN departments. During the meeting, parties will discuss internal political situation in the Kyrgyz Republic, establishing the parliamentary system in the KR, and post-conflict development of the southern Kyrgyzstan.

After that, Ruslan Kazakbaev will go to Washington to participate in Kyrgyz-American consultations. The KR and the U.S. intend to discuss cooperation conditions and perspectives.
