KUWAIT (AKIPress) — The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kuwait disposed to assist the development and strengthening of bilateral relations with Kyrgyzstan, including the promotion of the import of Kyrgyz goods into the Kuwaiti market, Director of the CCI Rabbah Al Rabbah told yesterday Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Kuwait Samargul Adamkulova.

During the meeting, Adamkulova told the interlocutor about Kyrgyzstan’s investment opportunities and the country’s potential for doing business, as well as the work carried out by the Kyrgyz government to attract foreign direct investments to the country’s economy.

She also talked about the tourism potential of Kyrgyzstan and the plans of the embassy to attract tourists from the Gulf countries in the near future.

Rabbah Al Rabbah invited the Kyrgyz side to actively participate in international exhibitions and events held by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kuwait and private entities of the country, as well as to regularly visit Kuwait and hold meetings with business representatives. He suggested sending the trade mission of Kyrgyzstan to Kuwait.

Adamkulova said she supports the idea of holding regular meetings and said there is a necessary contractual basis for this: the parties signed a number of important agreements, including a memorandum of understanding between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kuwait and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic.
