BISHKEK (KirTAG) – The acting prime minister of Kyrgyzstan Omurbek Babanov and the head of the Kazakhstan government Karim Massimov have agreed on an extra 10 m³ delivery of Kazakhstan gas to Kyrgyzstan.

This amount will allow for the establishment of steam handling of gas to the population. In September, Kazakhstan started delivering gas to Kyrgyzstan at the cost of US $195/1,000 m³. Kyrgyzstan received gas from Uzbekistan for $305/1,000 m³.
