BISHKEK — The Kyrgyzstan Tax Department has begun publishing a summary of the income, expenses and assets of officials and municipal employees who have submitted the unified tax return.

The State Tax Service submitted a tax return to former Kyrgyzstan President Almazbek Atambayev, who reported earning 100,118,000 soms last year. At the same time, 77 mln soms have already been spent on the amount of income.

According to the declaration, he owns two agricultural parcels totalling 9.1 hectares, one unfinished facility and two companies transferred to his son in trust.

Atambayev was president of Kyrgyzstan until 24 November 2017.
