BISHKEK (24.kg) — Damira Saginbaeva, Chief Medical Officer of the National Hospital of Kyrgyzstan, is suspected of abusing her official position. A declaration was received and registered at the end of January. There is now a pre-trial check.

It should be noted that the doctors had already complained about Damira Saginbaeva and demanded that she be prosecuted.

Doctors were outraged that she had unlawfully dismissed professionals and hired unskilled employees. However, in 2018, the Public Service for Combating Economic Crime refused to open criminal proceedings, as doctors were dismissed by decision of a special commission and could challenge them in court.
