Agreement on Fuel Supply Signed between Kyrgyzstan and Russia

BISHKEK (24.kg) – As the Association of Oil Traders reported, indicative balance for 2019 was signed by representatives of the State Committee for Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use of Kyrgyzstan and the Ministry of Energy of Russia yesterday, on December 6, with the assistance and prompt intervention of the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan.
Thanks to the signing, conditions were created for further stable and reliable provision of the republic with oil products on a duty-free basis.
The Association noted that Kyrgyzstan takes the first place in terms of cheap fuel among the countries dependent on its import. The report says:
According to the available information, the situation on the Russian market of petroleum products has undergone certain changes. Taking into account the prevailing circumstances, the retail fuel prices are expected to decline in the fuel and lubricants market of Kyrgyzstan in December by 1-2%, depending on the type of fuel.
