BISHKEK (24.kg news agency) – Prices rose in Kyrgyzstan by 1.7% for the two first months of 2015, the National Statistical Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
According to it, in February prices rose by 0.3%. More specifically, compared to December 2014 non-food products rose by 3.9%, alcoholic beverages and tobacco by 1.7% and services by 1.1%
“Prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages rose by 0.7% from the beginning of the year. In February, there was an overall decline in prices by 0.1% compared to the first month in 2015. Among the regions of the KR the biggest rise in price is in Naryn province – by 2.9%. There’s been a significant increase in the cost of food, non-alcoholic beverages (3.6%) and services (1.8%). Prices of non-food products rose the most in Chui province – by 4.9%”, the National Statistical Committee says.
