The VIth KAZENERGY Forum will focus on 20 Years of Sustainable Growth, New Horizons of Investments and Stable Cooperation with the Republic of Kazakhstan celebrating its 20th anniversary of Independence. The country has ambitions to take a place in the top 10 global oil producers. Mr. Timur Kulibayev, Chairman of the State Welfare Fund Samruk-Kazyna and KAZENERGY Association stated: “We have a strategy to produce 3 million barrels of oil per day. I hope that Kazakhstan will be a reliable partner in the future.”
Among many world renowned speakers of the Forum will be Mr. Karim Massimov, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Mr. Timur Kulibayev, Chairman of the State Welfare Fund Samruk-Kazyna and KAZENERGY Association, Mr. Sauat Mynbayev, Minister of Oil and Gas of Kazakhstan as well as Gunther Oettinger, European Commissioner for Energy, Mirek Topolanek, Former Prime Minister of the Czech Republic and Former President of the European Council, Selim Kuneralp, Chairman, Energy Charter Conference and Noe van Hulst, Secretary General, International Energy Forum (IEF).
The KAZENERGY Eurasian Forum is a momentous event in the petroleum and energy industry of Kazakhstan and the Caspian Sea region. Every year, about 1000 delegates from 43 countries attend the KAZENERGY Eurasian Forum in Astana. Government support for the VIth KAZENERGY Eurasian Forum will be provided by Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Mr. Karim Massimov, Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Oil and Gas, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Environmental Protection, Ministry of Emergency Situations, Ministry of Industry and New Technology, Ministry of Finance, and Ministry of Economic Development and Trade. The general sponsors of the event will be KazMunayGas and Tengizchevroil.
